Hi, I'm Darren

Welcome to my site. I spent eight years living in the United States, including time in Boston, New York, and Silicon Valley. While I was there, I worked as an SEO Strategist at WeWork and served as a Product Expert in the Google Search Central community.

I've since moved back to Taiwan and am based in Kaohsiung, working remotely for an Australian company. My wife and I are both digital nomads, and we share our travels at @asian_nomad_diary—follow along if you'd like.

Professionally, I'm an SEO practitioner who moved into AI. Most of the writing here comes from earlier in my career and covers SEO, web analytics, Python, UI/UX, and digital marketing. I keep it online as a record of the path I've taken, and I hope some of it is still useful to you.

About Digital Engine

Digital Enginewas the Facebook page I used to run. I no longer update it because of time constraints, but it still holds plenty of useful SEO and digital marketing material. Feel free to browse it as an archive.
